I have another piece of art I’ve getting ready and it’s reached the point finalization and that is the next issue in the series of the ink spill and that is a Mothman print entitled “Mothpocalypse.” When the end of the world is plummeting into the core of itself bringing only doom and destruction, but there still needs to fit in time for brekky and mental focus and clarity when causing the end of days and that’s the Mothpocalypse. I already have the design on screens and I’ll be going to press once the other prints are reprinted and the screens are off the press. It’s definitely more of a detailed piece compared to other print in the Ink Spill, it should be cool.
I’ve recently introduced a new color pattern of grey tones to the Chompsquatch print and that’s the Silverback. I was definitely looking for something different to try with the print and it took a few tries to dial in on the ink mixes but I think I got it there. The next planned variant will be revisiting Arachnvision for a monochrome color swap.
After all of the reprints are caught up I plan on getting the final character rigs ready for Urban Bigfoot “Lair of Cake.” Both front rigs of Leroy and the Cake Witch have been done and I need to get the side rigs finished and then animate and sync the mouth animation to the audio and it should be ready to go.
Back on the road, I’ve done a handful of shows so far and they’ve all been an experience. The first show of the year was the Horror Sideshow Market in Allentown, PA. This was my first horror show event and it was good show. The second show was in Valley Forge, PA for Zolocon. That was also the first time doing a show at the Valley forge Casino that was a massive show, there was a lot a to take in the realm of toys. Onto number three and that was the Bucks County Paracon, bigfoot aliens, and ghosts. Then in April I was at the LVCC (Lehigh Valley Comic Con) and this was another packed show at the Allentown Fairgrounds. The next show was Bigfoot Brews & Crytpid Market at Animated Brewing and that was fun day. Then the last in the updates to present was Pennhurst Paracon on May 17-18 and that was a packed show. As all of the events I really enjoy talking to everyone and thanks to whoever’s bought a print, illustration or a button. I appreciate it and thank you. Until next time. -bryan
