TO12H, Cake, Designs and More

Hello, hello again, let’s go. Things are moving along for TO12H | The Opposite 12th Hour episode 1 and ECD | Egg Chicken Dragon. All of scene 4’s background art for the exteriors for Lou’s house are complete. The foregrounds, midgrounds, and backgrounds have been reassembled into the final edit with final camera movements.

Moving on to scene 2 there’s a couple dozen shots that are in the process of final color and detailing. These backgrounds are all full of all sorts of items and I’ve been doing a lot of cross referencing to get everything close to being on model, it’s close. I’m looking forward to seeing it completed.

Next we have another project for another short and a pivot in direction and it’s for Urban Bigfoot. It’s around a minute long and it’s called “Lair of Cake” it’s a fun short and it should be ready soon. The quality to detail and the story are exactly where they need to be, and I’m very excited for this one.

TO12H and Beyond

The Opposite 12th Hour | TO12H has been moving forward at a steady pace. I’ve been going through the edit and working on adding Foley and other SFX elements. I’ve also been adjusting pacing for the final edit on a few shots and locking in on camera positions for export to use in the final animation. All backgrounds are in the final coloring stage and it’s really exciting to watch playback and to see the progress that’s being made.

Beyond TO12H and sitting behind a desk, I’ve started to take the show on the road. A quick retrospective on the two conventions that have happened and that was Paracon and Lehigh Valley Comic Convention | LVCC. Paracon was a great experience and just being able to setup a table and exhibit and meeting people and having the opportunity to do something like that was incredible. Pennhurst State School and Hospital grounds is truly historic there’s history in those walls and throughout the campus.
