We’re going places, and the summer con season has been kicked into gear. A handful of shows and some new artwork have been released. In June I was at Stellarcon at the York Fairgrounds in York, PA which was really cool to just be there and being apart of that convention. Next I was in Gettysburg, PA for Gettysburg Battlefield Bash a paracon of sorts. I met some new people and some who would just tell you to “fuggedaboutit.” If you haven’t been to Gettysburg I would highly recommend taking a trip and a taking a step back into history.
Next stop was in Elysburg, PA for Central PA Bigfoot and Cryptid Festival. This festival was awesome and even more people than last year as well as more vendors, artists, and food trucks. I’m looking forward to Central PA Bigfoot and Cryptid Festival 3.
I’ve been working on some new concept art with a handful of sketches and I really like where everything is headed. More on the new designs and story driven art once things are more closer to a readied state.
On the printing side of things I’m working on getting a new batch of Arachnivison 2.0 and Frankenfury 9×12’s screen printed. I’ve been printing some 5x7s for the Haunt Key, Supervoid, Battlebashed designs as well as from the “Ink Spill.” There’s buttons I started to make, they’re 1.25″ and I’ve been printing and pressing them with various pieces of the concept art, animation and print art.
Now back over to animation and I’m still working on getting the short for Urban Bigfoot done “Lair of Cake” done. I have the side angles close to finished and I’ve already got most of the head rigs complete with the facial features for Leroy and the cake clerk done. Once I wrap up the rigging and animation for both characters then everything should be good to go.
Then there’s the story of one Vincent Blurrium and his nightly adventures throughout the town of Preston Hill in The Opposite 12th Hour. I’m still very focused on this project and I’m looking forward to getting back to finishing the the first episode 001 | ECD | “Egg Chicken Dragon.”
