I wanted to do a progress update for awhile on the sequence I’ve been working on for the first episode of The Opposite 12th Hour. The sequence I planned on releasing a lot sooner than now ended up taking more time to produce, it’s a very dense scene with more angles then necessary with a lot items I suppose , it looks good in the edit.
I’ve recently started matching some of the angles with a real quick 3D building block process in Blender to adjust camera placement for reference compared to the original animatics to match scale. I then go back and draw everything by hand, scan the drawings, stitch together the scans, clean and color and so on. It’s a process, see you in the next up! -bryan
